Hungarian National Trading House Plc. was established in 2012 with the aim of helping export-capable Hungarian companies enter foreign markets, thereby increasing Hungary's competitiveness in global markets.
The trading house was present in 35 countries with contracted partners, so the central tracking of individual projects and the related administration required significant resources. As the number of projects and offices grew, the previously used systems were no longer suitable for comprehensively managing the processes with the available resources, leading to the need for custom software development.
After analyzing the processes, we decided on the development of a custom project management software as the solution to the above problem, capable of handling the unique processes arising from the specialized field of activity. Since it was important that the software be accessible from anywhere in the world and from any device, only a browser-based solution was viable.
Security was a crucial factor due to the handling of sensitive data, so we built advanced access management, multi-factor authentication, IP address whitelisting, SSL encryption, as well as various security analyses and blocks into the system.
As a result of the development, MNKH Plc. and its partner companies were able to manage their projects in a central system, which significantly increased transparency, contributed to more accurate tracking of results, and reduced the number of administrative work hours by nearly 30%, thereby resolving the bottleneck that had emerged at the company.
