Process Solutions Ltd. is Hungary's largest dynamically growing accounting services company. Its services are available in 40 countries across Europe, and its total headcount reaches 500 employees.


Problem

A fundamental pillar of the company's rapid growth is the quick selection of suitable employees, which has become an increasingly greater challenge in current market conditions. The recruitment process took place in person on paper, and test evaluations were also performed manually. As a result, the process was extremely time-consuming and costly, and due to slow turnaround times, there was a risk of losing the most promising candidates.

Solution

After consultations and process analysis, we concluded that the best solution was to move the test-taking and skills assessment portions of the recruitment process online. The custom-developed modular application successfully fully automated the completion and evaluation of logical, accounting, English language, and general tests, as well as a D3 concentration test. Since online completion carries a higher risk of cheating, we built various detection mechanisms into the system that can filter out a significant portion of such attempts.

Another important aspect of the development was the integration of the software with existing systems, thanks to which the HR department can send out unique test access links with a single click after receiving an application, further reducing the number of unnecessary work hours.


Result

Instead of the previous time-consuming paper-based test completion, a fully automated test system was successfully created. The application forms and detailed evaluations of candidates who performed satisfactorily are automatically sent to interviewers via email, reducing directly related work hours by 80% and thus the associated costs as well. Since the selection process has been significantly accelerated, efficiency has also increased, enabling a higher proportion of suitable employees to be selected from among job seekers, thereby outperforming competitors.
